We are pleased to announce that abc biopply AG has joined the Swiss Biotech Association. As a member of the association, we are now part of a vibrant network of biotech professionals and companies in Switzerland.

The year 2023 is starting with positive news after the U.S. Congress passed the FDA Modernization Act 2.0, which removes the requirement for animal testing in drug development. The decision paves the way to finally allowing the use of data generated from new alternative methods (NAMs), such as abc biopply's 3D multi-organoid in chip assays.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Olivera Evrova as a new member to our abc biopply team. Olivera will strengthen our laboratory group in the execution of preclinical study projects and the further development of our 3D assay portfolio.

20.08.2022 Seattle/Solothurn Seattle-based primary cell biology CRO ReachBio and Swiss biotech abc biopply announced today a partnership to jointly co-market their preclinical test models. The two companies plan to support their clients with an even more predictive assay portfolio to further increase the efficiency of their drug discovery and development services.

In collaboration with the American Physiological Society (APS) and our American partner nanoscaleLABS, abc biopply is organizing a webinar on the use of 3D CoSeedis™ in high throughput ex vivo propagation of multiple myeloma cells. Dr Johannes Waldschmidt and Dr Andreas Thomsen from the University of Freiburg in Germany together with Dr Marco Leu from abc biopply will discuss the importance of reliable 3D preclinical disease models in accurate and predictive compound testing.

Solothurn 08.02.2022 Swiss Biotech Company abc biopply reports revenues in 2021 more than doubled in its core business with its preclinical 3D tumor models. The company has started offering these specialized CRO services to its biotech and pharma clients since 2019.
