Easy Mass Production of ultra homogeneous 3D Organoids for High-Throughput Screening
We are excited to share the results of our latest study demonstrating a fast, reliable, and scalable approach to generating highly uniform 3D organoids (>98%) for HTS applications.
Key Highlights:
- Viability: Post-sorting analysis confirmed no loss of cell viability—all wells filled with viable organoids growing as expected.
- Precision: Mis-filled wells (empty or multiple organoids) were <2%, ensuring high accuracy.
- Uniformity: Organoid size variation was as low as 0.01%, delivering exceptional consistency across plates.
- Speed: Sorting 1 organoid from suspension per well in a 384-well plate took <5 minutes per plate—that’s more than 1 organoid per second.
- Scalability: In less than 10 days, a lab assistant can produce ~180,000 organoids, ready for sorting with consistently less ressources.
This study is based out of combining the 3D CoSeedis Multi-Organoid™ platform from abc biopply and the COPAS VISION™ system from Union Biometrica Inc.—a powerful synergy enabling efficient, cost-effective HTS workflows.
